Feedback

Complaints and compliments

The practice welcomes feedback about your care. Complaints and compliments help the team understand what worked, what did not, and what needs a practical response.

Do not use written feedback pathways for urgent medical concerns. If symptoms are current, severe, rapidly worsening or unsafe to wait, call the clinic or seek urgent medical care.

Complaints

The practice endeavours to provide high quality care that respects your autonomy. If you would like to make a complaint about your care, please let the practice know as soon as possible.

The team will take time to understand your concerns and navigate a resolution with you.

You can contact the practice through the website contact pathway or by email. The practice will acknowledge or respond to your communication within 14 days and aims to provide a response within 45 days.

Escalation

If you are dissatisfied with the practice response to your complaint, you may also contact the ACT Human Rights Commission, which handles complaints about the provision of health services in the Australian Capital Territory.

Compliments

There are many ways the team receives positive feedback from patients, and this encourages continued efforts to deliver high quality care.

If you would like to formalise your feedback, you can email the practice or use the contact page. Clinicians are unable to post testimonials on the website, but patients may offer reviews on third-party platforms where appropriate.

Privacy when giving feedback

Feedback may include personal information or health information. Please avoid sending payment details, card numbers, Medicare numbers, attachments or detailed clinical histories through a general website form unless the clinic gives you a secure pathway for that information.

Some concerns may need to be handled through another pathway. Privacy concerns may follow the privacy policy, billing or fee questions may start with the fees page, and clinical concerns about current symptoms may need an appointment or phone contact.
