Procedure
- Consultation A consultation with our clinical team is essential to discuss suitability for Divine Pro, and the component treatments that make up the ‘pyramid facial’. Pre-procedure images may be taken for records.
- Preparation The treatment area is cleansed. Although not always required, a local anaesthetic may be applied to sensitive skin to minimise discomfort during the procedure.
- Administration The Divine Pro utilises non-needling deep muscle activation and trifractional radio-frequency to tighten the skin, retrain muscles and stimulat collagen. This treatment phase is described as a warm massage. The RF needing, either volumising or resurfacing, involves the application of the device to the skin, with automated delivery of RF heated micro-needles. The procedure is repeated until the area is treated. The process takes only 15-20 minutes.
- Results Initially the skin feels warm, similar to a mild sun-burn. Redness will then develop and fade over 1-2 days. Results can be seen immediately, and develop further over time. Repeated treatments bring the ideal results.
Risks
- Redness and mild swelling: Redness is a desired effect and fades within a few days .Swelling can occur and can be improved by applying a cool compress for 15 minutes.
- Infection: Although rare, there is a risk of infection at the insertion sites. Proper hygiene and post-procedure care can help minimise this risk.
- Hyper/hypo-pigmentation Reactions: While these reactions are uncommon, it can occur unpredictably. RF is a heat-generating procedure. Skin types of darker natural colour are more at risk of skin pigment changes as a result of heat or trauma.
Post-Procedure Care
- Gentle Cleansing: Proper cleansing of the treated area is essential, but patients should avoid aggressive rubbing or massaging. Micro-crusts form over 1-3 days and should not be scratched
- Avoid makeup For the first 24 hours after treatment (some post procedure makeups are safe to use, such as Oxygenetix®.
- Avoiding Sun Exposure: Sun protection is crucial to prevent pigmentation changes and protect the skin during the healing process.
- Follow-Up Appointments: Patients are recommended to attend for review 3 days after treatment to review progress.
